By golly, a white mule in that last pic.
And I don't expect anyone to know but us Okies...A 'white mule' was probably one of the first drinking games to ever come down the pike. Any time you see a white mule you have to take a swig of good corn 'squeezins'...(aka un-aged ethyl al-kee-hall distilled from malted corn). I did notice there is a White Mule Distillery in Purdy, MO. I'm pretty sure my granddad and uncles were playing 'white mule' long before the distillery came into existence. 😉
carry on...and pass the jug.
Is there a little rebar next to it?;)

Came across the remains of an old bob sled today
That's an unusual find. Just hope you don't find the remains of Bob, too.

Here I thought you were on vacation in Jamaica.
I find the hardware involved in holding contraptions from the past together fascinating.
Will document with pictures and take measurements of the remains and abscond with the hardware when permitted.
I have most of the parts to build a late 1800s wagon and an lots of other parts.
