I want that truck box featured in the GeoShack Direct ad on the back cover of the xyHt.
Where do I get one?
I haven't gotten the October issue yet but I did read a very nice article about a superhero solo surveyor in the back of the September issue. I assume that was your son?
Corey
Yup. Proud Pappa.
Pics man, we need pics!
What magazine is it in?
I hear I'm in it for a little review thingy I did.
Am I?
I think that truck was in a sweepstakes or giveaway a year or so ago. I've seen it somewhere before.
Corey
Aloha, Brad:

Just be sure to close the vehicle doors if your going to move. Me and a partner had a truck with a setup similar to that (a home built unit). We had to do some stuff along the interstate near the NC and SC border and traffic was heavy so we were kind of trying to hurry along. We weren't bothering to close the rear doors since we were just moving up. That was all fine and good until we headed up the exit ramp in a hurry to get out of harms way. Our top drawer slid all the way out and dumped stuff all over the ramp.
I doubt that would have been a problem with a professionally built unit with drawer slide locks preventing that from happening.
Alas.. we "learnt that lesson real good" and made for some good ribbing when the office folks and our other buddies heard about it.
