The bigger challenge of the survey project will be finding monuments from which to start.?ÿ The county has relatively few surveys on file older than about 20 years.?ÿ This town has been slowly dying for 70 years so there would be little chance of finding much in the way of recent survey work.?ÿ Too many of the old timers tried to hide their work product from the public, further complicating matters.
