I usually only use the .dc file downloaded from TSC2's running windows mobile 5.0. As users of Trimble know, the data is actually stored on the data collector in a .job file, and it gets converted to a .dc file upon download.
Friday we did some hydro, which is ONLY stored in the .job file and does not get put into the .dc file. I apparently had datatransfer set to delete files after download. I don't usually have that set, but we were collecting some 1 second data with an R8 so I was deleting the data on R8's to make room for new files.
So, apparently the .job file is gone forever, no way to get it back? I did a search and it lokks like you can undelete files on memory cards, but not from the main memory.
If anyone knows how to undelete a file in windows mobile, I would appreciate some guidance. Otherwise I will have to redo the hydro portion of the job. Not a lot, maybe an hour or so, but still it is a hassle...
