Work bought an autolock S5 and trying to convince them to upgrade to robotic. Can this be done, what are the costs?

Isn't the s5 a robotic gun? Maybe the collector software has to be upgraded to unlock the robotic features. I know survey pro is like that.
Why wouldn't they want to? I see crews still running topo with a rod man and a guy looking through a manual gun.... all I can do is shake my head and imagine the wasted time.
