Derek, you realize that "Surveyor" in this case is a community in West Virginia.

Eldorado Springs, Missouri

That is the true home to surveyors. There is even a big historical sign in the city park making that claim. Apparently a number of people from there hired on with the government to survey in the 1800's. Then every time there was a need for another employee, someone from Eldorado Springs would get hired.
