Hi all,

Having another TSC7 issue. Not a huge deal unless your using a S7 total station. Oh by the way I am. So the issue is moving from a S6 to S7 I lose my track light for a camera. So now when I'm doing topo or anything that is not in the open I have no way of determining the scope position. This is where my problem with the tSC7 comes in. The internal GPS shows in my map screen and I am able to turn the gun in the direction of my "2 to 4 meter" Internal GPS location than do a quick search and im rolling. Finally the problem is my TSC7 is not recognizing the internal GPS chip which I believe is a UBLOX product.

I have went into windows and there is a GNSS.cfg but it does not find anything. Also went into device manager and there is a ublox something under the sensors option. I have checked the driver and windows says its the best one to date.?ÿ

As of right now Trimble has been 0 help.

If anyone has a idea or has been through this any info would be greatly appreciated.

So just an update on my TSC7. The internal GPS was always there but windows was not recognizing it, even with all the correct drivers and files.

Ultimately the fix was to uninstall and reinstall windows which took approximately 12 hours to do. Said and done I have my internal GPS working which those of you that use an S7 should know how much you rely on that for doing work where the video feed cant see through the leaves.
