Just was bragging about the lack of problems with my TSC3 Data Collector and now the charger won't charge it's battery. Anyone have a similar problem with charging it's battery? I'm getting desperate now since my battery is below 20%.

It is usually because the port assembly needs replacement. I just replaced one today. The lack of being able to charge usually accompanies a disconnect in upload download as well

It uploads and downloads fine. There just doesn't seem to be a connection between the charger and the battery. The plug-in looks a little hokey, but what could go wrong with that? There's no indicator light on the charger so you can't tell if it's on or off.

More than likely changing the ports will fix the issue, always has for me. They make them as hard to user service as they can, the batteries have a hand shake to identify positive and negative and the ports are all embedded in silicone.

i was exploring the battery case ad removed the battery. Now it tells me to reset the clock. Where do I find that routine?

Got a new charger today. My problem was a bad charger. New charger has me back up and running.

Sorry I didn't see your post sooner. That would have been my suggestion. I just had to replace the power adaptor for my laptop. Same deal.
