Is anyone familiar w/ a point to line inverse function in Trimble Access?? I've not been able to find such a function.

You might want to look in the Cogo menu but it's not straight forward, I recall doing one once. You go into cogo and then scroll down to calculator. In calculator at the bottom you'll see distance. once in distance you have a pull down menu and in there you'll find compute a distance.

I've looked through the cogo menu & have been going through the manual. Have not found it yet.

Thanks I have looked for this before and never found it.
I wonder why it isn't in the normal cogo menu.
I have never used the calculator as I don't like (never used) RPN calculators.

Took me forever to find that function when we upgraded to access. Seems like it was under cogo on the old version. I wish it would deal with deflection angles as a stakeout or display. All the plans I deal with use deflection angles... Oh how I miss the old SMI 48 Construction 5.

You don't have to use the calculator in Access in RPN mode; go into the calculator options and turn RPN off.
