Hi

I've been issued a trimble sps930 TS with a TCS3 comtroller running SCS900 software. I'm currently working on a project where I need to do QC measurement on a lot of curbstones. I have a 3D line to use as reference, but I can't figure out how to measure it, so that it stores both chainage, sideways offset and height difference at random chainages on the line.?ÿ

In measure mode, I can use a reference line, but then I can't see the cut/fill to the line, and in setout mode it takes forever to get a measurement, and it quits setout mode every time. I can do fixed chainages in setout, but then i have to be within tolerences, and sometimes the curbs are not... Also it takes way longer, since I have to find the exact chainage, rather than just approximately.

Does anyone know of a way to measure with a reference line and store all three parameters?
