?ÿWe own 3 Trimble S6 and 5 Trimble S5. our oldest S6 has been declared unrepairable by Trimble. The coating has failed on the metallic body via oxidation underneath the coatings. Our next oldest is exhibiting the same condition. Has any one else experienced this?

Never. I have had mine for 12 years and have not seen anything like that. It has been used in the rain, snow, sun, etc. But it is almost never in the case, always in a backpack. And it if gets wet we leave it out to dry.?ÿ
