I've seen T01, T02 DAT files, what is a T04 file?

I get T04 from the receivers in the UX5-HP and the MD4-1000DG. I think it might be a format that accommodates IMU data in addition to GNSS, but that's just a guess. The T04 from the MD4-1000DG has to be processed in Applanix' PosPac software.
