Stuffing the instrument case--any ideas?
> Orientation is not critical. You just don't want it to be rattling around inside its case. And the 5603's case will allow the instrument to move around inside the case if it's anything other than vertical. If you have to transport it horizontal you might want to stuff a few pieces of foam in there to take up the slack.
Aloha, any idea what would be the best material safe to use inside the case to prevent excessive movement while the instrument rests horizontally--in the hard case? There are all kind of foams available. What kind foam would anyone of you be comfortable with? Since it will be in contact with the instrument.
Mahalo!
Old timers wisdom is always appreciated!
> P.S. Would you mind posting the picture of your gizmo Wayne?
No problem, aside from I won't be by my quad until tomorrow. It really is cool for one guy and all the gear a solo want's to deal with.
It's not really all that gizmo'ed out, it's just a function of being smarter than the terrain you have to deal with. Lest we forget vegetation and/or water influence... oh yea, age does tend to come into play...lol. 😉 I love my little quad.
I'll put a couple pix's up and most beerlegger will chuckle because they are ultra gizmoed out. That's ok, but it works for me and has for years.

I'm thinking of a few fist sized chunks of the sort of foam that Smaltheimer has pictured below.
