This the the burnt remains of a BT- The record was a 65" pine at the turn of the century. It's part of a convoluted mess that blew up last Monday. I may post more on it later when things get sorted out.
Then I went to a location where it was supposed to be 540'+/- from the CL of the EB interstate lane to the north bank of the St Regis river. Looks like it has migrated a little since 1978 - this moose was standing in the backwater to the right of my intended route.
She looks like she's having a good summer feed.
Then I went east to where the PC of the curve was to be located.
I headed in to the brush with a shovel, pinfinder, and sandvik.
When I saw this I "Offset" 90^ and about 20 feet east to get to my destination.
The moose is kinda cute just standing there in the water there...What was he doing anyhow? Cooling his "berries" or??
