So as I'm getting better at this, I find myself wanting to tweak things but for some reason my computer acts differently than others in the office. example... I needed to label lots of small areas by polyline. I didn't care about the acreage, just the sq.ft. I kept trying to take the "acres" out of the label, but it would always stay there when I went to label. I tried it on two other machines and it did what I thought it should do, add the label with just sq. ft. So is there a system variable or lock that I'm missing that isn't letting me tweak these things. example 2. trying to get the line label to add "crows feet".. I see the switches to add that, but it just ignores me. thanks.andy

I'm using Carlson civil suite 2018 on Autocad 2018. This didn't happen to me with 2016. I skipped using 2017, installed it but never used it.
