Received a call from #1 helper about 9:00 p.m. that his mother had died. We knew for the past two or three months that this was coming, just a matter of when. #2 helper was going to be available for a day or two, but, this is his grandmother, so that's not happening either. Mrs. Cow will be off work starting Wednesday. Maybe she should go out with me for the first time in a few years. Just not the same since the hip replacement and the weak knee (hers, not mine). Bit on the chilly side for an office dweller type.
