We are on a mission from God.

The big field of Manzanita just before the monument is pretty severely burned which made our life easier.

W.C. set in 1882 at 70.08 chains running north, impracticable to proceed.?ÿ Section corner to 23/24/25/26, T19S, R30S, M.D.M. on the south flank of Moses Mountain.

R.M. to W.C. (only root hole left), found in 2002, R.M. set in 2002.?ÿ W.C. (a 44" Sugar Pine) is completely gone except for the root hole.?ÿ Very steep climb up there.

It's a pretty spectacular spot at 7300 foot elevation overlooking the fog in the valley below (Porterville on the left, Exeter on the right).

Could be worse. At least a unicorn didn't bump your tripod.
