Remember our dearly departed buddy Joe (Jobo) Glidden. Once upon a time he told us here that he was related to Zac Efron. Here's one source verifying that fact.
Here's a source describing the Glidden connection down about three-fourths of the way. It's next to the photo of Shania Twain on the right side.
That was interesting!! :-$
I sure miss JoBo...He was always so kind and generous. For some reason I thought he was a youngin', like in his 30s. Maybe I got him confused with his nephew. B-)
Yes, I knew that but did not want to interject while posters were paying tributes to Jobo to go off on a tangent on the original Jobo post about his passing.
A lot of th Lucky One was filmed in my neighborhood. It was suppose to be a town in NC but Covington, La was used.
Interesting man was Jobo who had a very interesting mother so it seems.
I am glad that he finally made to a trip to the island where his mother was raised and wrote her book.
Page 5 of this newsletter has a good picture of him with another lovely niece.
Check Jobo out with the nice brim.

The niece in that photo is Zac's mom Starla.

If ya want, I can merge this thread with JoBos passing thread... :-S
Just let me know.
Being famous is kind of relative.
I don't even know who that kid is (other than I now know it was Joe's Great Nephew).
I suspect he must be someone popular with the kids (Disney/actor/singer).
Joe was the real celebrity (at least around here).
