Do you have one of those magic forestry GISserts ?
I'm a little suspicious of the statement that
"And once GPS coordinates have been recorded, they will always remain in the system."
Maybe it was a misprint that it is a GIS system that they are setting boundaries with.
And did the photo caption writer feel self-congratulatory about "monumental task"?

I've done work in the Ocala forest before and they call it a forest for a reason. In some areas the light hardly penetrates the tree canopy. I am kind of surprised that they can even use it in there. But, if they are working the boundaries like the article says, there are some open areas.
