Hello pmonta,

We've a TC2002 for which we desire to check the "OEM Constants".

In this regard, we also own the Service Manual (SM), but not the oem service software.

Any knowledge of algorithm(s) so as to hand calculate the values (ex: KL, ref SM pdf pg 82) ?

Note that SM shows KL = .984016 as Example (pg 82 or direct manual pg 6-5e), but unsure as to the algorithm.

Thx in advance for reply!

@pmonta

I just purchased the service manual and have my T3000 running with an 8c error. How can I find out how to reload the lost data due to a bad button battery. I am an electronics engineer and am very familiar with the T3000 but have never reloaded the data due to this problem

Hi,

I'd like to know how to enter constants for the T2002 and T3000. I found a T2000 it will probably work for.

Don't feel like paying for a manual yet. maybe later if I get to using and liking it.

So I am also working to revive one of these old T2002. I have thus far changed the internal battery. I have the constants from the battery compartment and understander the entry process.

My problem is I can't seen to get it to read a horizontal angle. Just playing with it it will always time out and throw up an error 51. (Info1 09 Info2 02 Info3 00). This is keeping me from going thru the collimation process.

Any ideas. I have bothered the user manual and the service manual, but can't seem to find any fix yet. I am very new to this instrument and do not fully understand the manual as of yet. I am sure I am missing something.
