Any chance of this being added for CR5/Zoom 90? It would make a big difference in the field. I know theyƒ??ve had battery issues with it in the past. Maybe put a variable delay on it? Batteries are cheap ?????ÿ

It's something we've considered, but lately, we're recommending using Hybrid SurvCE instead.?ÿ It will automatically search on lost lock, but it turns right to the location of the GPS on the top of the pole, which is MUCH more efficient.?ÿ A failed power search can be very slow, and that's one of the reasons we haven't implemented any sort of automatic search on lost-lock.?ÿ We find that it tends to interfere with survey and cause more problems than it solves.?ÿ Have you seen a Hybrid demo??ÿ It is a game-changer in terms of speed.

Hi Sarah,

i did purchase Hybrid+ and have used it and am very impressed.  IMHO and being a newbie, suggestions...

Make it easier to start with and make robotics the baseline of the system and when functioning robotically - don’t have differences with gnss displayed, as robotics should always be better and faster?

Thanks!

I am using SurvPC 5.0 and zoom90 currently. Does that mean if I were to upgrade survPC 6.0 I would lose the powersearch function?

Not sure if this was for Sarah or me, she is the expert/programmer ?????ÿ My question initially was regarding the "search when lost lock" function.?ÿ The powersearch works with 6.xx

@ralphieboy Sorry it was just a public qn not really directed to anyone. I had thought autosearch was powersearch. My bad.

No worries. I would still like an auto search with a variable delay.
