Bryan, I assume that he revealed the secret that if you sign with the other hand than that you normally write with, then it relieves you of all potential liability. Not many surveyors are aware of this.

No problem. Just be sure not to do anything that will cancel out the opposite-hand signature, though, such as applying your professional seal right-side up.
Richard seems to be confused...
an ACSM/ALTA Land Title "Survey" is not a "Survey" product, it is a transfer of liability product. If Richard understood this then he would see that, of course, the Land Liabilator (formerly known as the Land Surveyor) has to sign whatever certificate the lender wants even if it requires the certification that Martians will not invade at this location.
