I have been having difficulty transferring data from this level.
I am running Windows 7 64 bit and would like to use the Sprinter DataLoader software.

I have a GEV222 cable that I can only get working in a virtual machine with Windows Vista 32bit.
Since I don't really want to fire up a virtual machine to transfer data I bought another cable a GEV267.
When I plug in the GEV267 cable the USB icon does not display on the device.

There are some options on the unit to allow data to be recorded or downloaded to an external device is this the only means for the GEV267 cable.
6. Data manager > Download Data
7. Recording > Ext.

[xtable]
{tbody}
{tr}
{td}
{/td}
{td}
{/td}
{/tr}
{tr}
{td}GEV222 {/td}
{td}GEV267 {/td}
{/tr}
{/tbody}
[/xtable]

The only drivers I have located are at
http://www.leica-geosystems.com/en/page_catalog.htm?cid=4226

Thanks
William

I am in the same boat. Have you had any success with this?
Cannot get Windows 7 64 bit to use the provided drivers.
It just wants to use "USB serial port" built in driver.

Scrub that - I think I have the right driver, the program just doesn't want to talk using the GEV267 cable.

Yes I managed to get the cable on the left working (on windows 7 64 bit) with right driver. It was a right fiddle as you have to try and delete the old drivers.
I think I got the right driver from here http://support.sccssurvey.co.uk/download/

Thanks, Success! The Sprinter Dataloader_R145.zip looks like a much improved.

Regarding the other GEV267-Cable
[xtable=skin1]
{tbody}
{tr}
{td}
10.Settings > RS232
Baudrate:19200
Parity: None
Stop Bit: 1
Data Bit: 8{/td}
{td}
6. Data Manager
Download Data (GSI / ASCII){/td}
{/tr}
{/tbody}
[/xtable]
Its a serial connection. I used program called AccessPort.
It dumps a plain ASCII. When i get some spare time I might code a GSI-8 parser!

To round this off if you register your product on the Leica MyWorld Website you get access to relevant software drivers etc.
There is currently...
DataLoader_r148.zip for Windows 2000 / Windows XP / Windows 2007 and Excel 2007 onwards.
DataLoader_r149.zip for Windows 8 / Windows 10 and Excel 2007 onwards.
Glad I got the Sprinter Dataloader_R145.zip Thanks squowse.
