Solo Surveying & stuff
I guess i should have simplified my question. Basically, I am wondering if there is a good robotic instrument for under 20k. Im not looking to start a business on 20k. I know I will need a lot of $$$. I already own a truck. I already own a computer with Cad and surveying software. Ive worked for the same company for 16 years and have had my licence for the last 6 years. I feel like ive reached my ceiling where I am and i am thinking of other options. I thank you all for the advice.

A good reflectorless instrument(with a tight beam), with a nice(or adequate) on-board data collector.
Only buy on credit, if the credit makes enough difference on your added earnings(with the more robust equipment), to more than offset the cost of the financing.
