I used a compact battery bank meant for charging phones with mine. It lasted a long time that way.?ÿ
Mine works just like that except it doesn't make the rooster crow.

IMHO, all data collectors should be programmed so that they make a rooster crow sound when a successful observation is stored.
@june-gives?ÿ Can you post the pin out for the APL-1a to Parini SD1000. We see the screen but are not sure about
the pin connections.
Need to contact you. Will pay for info on SD1000 to APL-1A.
