I really like the one we have. It works great in pavement and concrete. We mainly use it for pinning the foundation of houses and have probably done ten or so and havenƒ??t had a problem. It takes a little getting used to when you plumb the rod but all in all Iƒ??m very pleased.

@jones

Are you able to get good verticals with it?

I had one in the past... got lost somewhere.

?ÿ

What I used it for was marking locations on q-decking and other deck forming. Sped up layout considerably.

No, there is quite a bit of movement up and down and that is what makes plumbing the rod a little different at first.

Looks like a good idea on the peanut prism for doing construction staking or reference points on curbs and sidewalks.?ÿ Use it to scribe while you are on your knees and not have to dig around your gear to find a concrete scribe.?ÿ Jp
