Helping a client with a sales map for his house at Norris Lake. He had a survey of his lots prepared and several of the corners are "roof bolt". What is that?

I surveyed in the mines for almost a decade, Roof Bolts is what they installed in the ceiling of the mines. They are rebar that can be differing diameters and lengths. It should have a head on it that looks like it can be turned by a wrench. Just calling a corner roof bolt is a little ambiguous, but if they left the "head" of the bolt on it is pretty easy to distinguish.

Agree that the head of a roof bolt is easy to identify.?ÿ Think of a very large masonry expansion bolt. The tip expands as the bolt is tightened. This video
shows installing roof bolts.?ÿ Note there are several sections and the last installed would likely be what was used as a survey corner.?ÿ In the foreground is an installed bolt showing a square head. These usually have a depression in the center as shown here.
Norris Lake- north of Conyers? Did a fair amount of roadway improvement surveying there in the 90's, if so. That name made the cobwebs ripple, regardless. Pretty sure we didn't set any monuments for that work and definitely not any roof bolts.?ÿ
