When they call and do not know me and got my name from a roster,
I ask what is the last bid. "$800". I respond how about $795.

There is a surveyor in Texas who will stake or find all corners of a lot
and draw a plat for $150. He claims his backlog is about 50 lot surveys.

On occasion, a surveyor would refer a lot survey to me. When the client
called, he said Bob said to call me. I asked for the subdivision name and
he said Acres Homes. I said that every lot we do in that subdivision is $2000.
He said 'Wow'. How much did Bob quote you? He said $2000.

Is the email I received once, for a lot staking about an hour away. I believe I proposed $900. Oh yeah, the real email had the real words in place..."

Was this another client from that eharmony.com surveying advertisement ?
