This tiny lil' situation in Tallahassee has certainly been enlightening.

So far, the only Association outside of Surveying that officially came out to defend us (that I'm aware of), ironically, was the Florida Land Title Association. The same Title people that some accuse of driving down the price of survey services. Engineer-oriented FSMS may want to take note of that ...

I've yet to see any letter to Tallahassee from any of the other various professions or industries. This is a real eye-opener for me 😐

I for one am not going to count this ordeal as over until the bill is in its final form and is voted on. Too many things could still happen so I am not going to let my guard down just yet. None of us should.

just got off the phone with my attorney.

He said it would be highly irregular for the committee to revert to full document AND vote on it in the same meeting.

Line 1000 is still confusing, and it may be that the text that is "stricken" should be re-instated..

I am calling off my trip... but will remain vigilant!
