@thebionicman I've never lived in an urban area but can tell you that in 1972 my parents bought a year old bilevel 3 br 2 bath home with only one income source for $39,500.?ÿ There were three of us kids and we never missed a meal or needed for anything.
In 1994, 22 years later, I bought my current home, very similar to that home my parents owned and only 2 years newer.?ÿ I paid $185,500 for it and it's now worth in the area of $500K.?ÿ Homes in my area are moving within days right now.?ÿ The current housing market and inflated pricing, as well as the inflated buying power are going to flatten, if now drop dramatically, just like they did in 2008.?ÿ It's cyclical.
