So did your reject it, use the "obliterated" evidence to relocate the corner and file a new corner record?

I've got "few" of these myself. So now we are down to pin cushioning corner records. I suppose there ain't no end to the madness!

> Q1: When weighing found evidence at an obliterated quarter corner; how important is it that the point be on a line between the two opposing section corners? On a scale of 1 to 10 where 1 represents no importance and 10 represents max importance.
1. If you mean on line to gnat's behind. In fact if it's precisely on line that pretty much proves that it's a restoration rather than an original, doesn't it? If you mean on line to within 10 feet or so, I suppose the number might be 2 or 3. If you meant on line with the centerline stripe of the section line road the number may be up to 4 or 5. And if you mean on line with the centerline stripe give or take 10 feet then I be up to 6 or 7.

> Q2: How many years have you been surveying?
23. Licensed 14. Long enough to know that "the contrary may be proven".
