Dane,

I hear you with the wear and tear on the aging operator. While you may be able to get an inverter to work I would agree with the others about the generator option. Speaking from experience, some times it is nice to have power away from the truck.

Mr McMillian

> Just out of curiosity, how did you injure your elbow with a digging bar? You know to wear gloves and let the mass of the bar do the work, right?

Epichondylitis, whether lateral (tennis elbow) or medial (golfer's elbow), can arise from any repetitive motion involving the joint, and I expect that fewer strokes are needed to bring it on when heavy lifting if involved.

I got the medial version in my right elbow about 3 years ago when a rotohammer bit grabbed in the hole and spun my arms around 180°. I used the "ignore it and it'll go away" approach for a year and a half, then physical therapy for 6 months, and the combination of the two wrestled the condition down to a minor annoyance. But apparently as a result of favoring my right elbow, I now have medial epichondylitis on the left side, too, though it's very minor ("it only hurts when I touch it").

Old joints just can't take the punishment that young ones can. 'Taint fair!
