I have purchased a used Topcon GTS9003A?ÿ with a Topcon FC 2500 controller which has SurvCE 2.65 installed. In both the Topcon direct mode and the Topcon robotic mode I get a "error reading data" when trying to shoot a backsite.

The gun and the controller do seem to be communicating. I can run the set angle or check angle. It sems like when it goes to measure distance it gets hung up.

Any thoughts are most appreciated
