I have been hearing the same thing. It wasn't too bad in West Tennessee this year, but I feel for our friends up north.
I drove that stretch of road quite often when I was in college at FVCC in Kalispell. I visited friends in the Coeur d'Alene/Post Falls/Rathdrum, ID area over holidays and some weekends. I sure do miss those mountains.
That is a pretty drive - been over it many times while attending college in Moscow.
