Well, I have my program already fully operational except for KML/KMZ export or the unit conversions. I'll probably do that tomorrow. My eyes and brain hurt after 3 days of this. I'm also waiting on some questions posed to a feller at NGS/NOAA so I won't monkey with the data until I hear back. I'm told he is land surveyor (ret.) so I've asked if he has ideas for further features.
I have a question about the reported longitudes. Inside the XML they are always reported as EAST_LON so they are 0-360 degs.
Can data collectors handle this or will I need to do the math and give a negative for those greater than 180?
I have a screen shot of the program running in debug mode so you can see all the point data I'm extracting plus the resulting csv file it produced.
If someone can tell me how to upload an image here, I'll post it.
Like I told Kevin earlier this morning: just less than 3 days ago I could barely spell OPUS. Now I are one. 😀
Figure I've done pretty dam good in this short time having never seen OPUS data before.

If you'll notice on the right hand side, where the emoticons are, there's an upload button. Click it and simply choose the image file you want to upload.
Thanks Alan. Popup blocker stopped without any warning.
I usually get warnings but not this time.
Looks like it scaled it big time.
This is a dual monitor screen shot so I guess if someone wants the full image they have to email me for it.
Wonder if you were to save it locally, then view it would it be full size.
