I got a really crappy return from Opus RS using seven points (auto selected by opus). I thought RS only used four points and if I draw a polygon thru these point, my point is not inside.

BASE STATIONS USED
PID DESIGNATION LATITUDE LONGITUDE DISTANCE(m)
DN5858 TXPI PALESTINE CORS ARP N314328.159 W0953541.697 58126.0
DN4510 TXNC NACOGDOCHES CORS ARP N314003.999 W0944008.386 79384.7
DO8865 TXCK CROCKETT CORS ARP N311921.458 W0952609.242 95149.9
DH3772 TXMA MARSHALL TX CORS ARP N323207.125 W0941719.082 100804.7
DH3610 TXLF LUFKIN CORS ARP N312122.843 W0944305.912 104079.4
DN4504 TXC1 CENTER CORS ARP N314849.268 W0940936.910 111897.0
DN5862 TXS1 SAN AUGUSTINE CORS ARP N313133.564 W0940739.548 129388.1

I tried again selecting Tyler first (the closest station) and three of the points above and got this:
6033 User selected station TXTY fails the single baseline test and
6033 cannot be used. Aborting.
6033

When I look at The Tyler cors station from the map, it says the info is available. I have never done post-processing and I have never had this problem with Opus S.

What am I missing?

James

Ran it again selecting four of the original seven. This time Opus included Navarro and I got better results. Tyler is still not showing up. The file is from 3 days ago, after 7pm central time friday.

Opus RS Uses Up To Nine CORS

It will not use a CORS that it considers has poor data. After a few days some CORS get their data filtered and are then usable.

Pick the CORS you want and it will tell you if it does not like it's data.

Sometime to get inside the polygon you have to pick a CORS farther away. OPUS-RS will tell you if it is too far way.

The most important part of OPUS-RS is getting good clean data yourself.

Opus RS Uses Up To Nine CORS

thanks Paul, I had tried picking two stations farther North but it got kicked out. It appears that the Tyler district is falling behind the others. There seams to be a void of info north of Tyler.

Opus RS Uses Up To Nine CORS

Mark Silver did a short video a couple weeks ago about something related. I thought I bookmarked it but now I can't find it. He showed a way to see your CORS station data before you opt them into your solution. I expect it would help in your case.
He posted it on youtube so I suppose it could be found farily easily.

Opus RS Uses Up To Nine CORS

Thanks Eric,
I found the video and learned a lot from it. With the extended output and looking at the residuals, I excluded another site and ended up with much better results.

Tyler station never did process.
