BTW - what is Cyclone? I Googled it and got this: "Cyclone is a web server framework for Python that implements the Tornado API as a Twisted protocol. " EH?

Yeah that's it 😉

Cyclone is Leica's point cloud processing software. Very powerful but it runs on the edge of crashing a lot.

I actually find it fairly stable for the most part (compared to the early years), but, when it starts chunking your session is about to be done though

First you were talking smack about my other post now this!

🙁

I think I need to go to my safe place.

Sorry, Dave. I'm a bit frazzled writing descriptions for a little over 100 stone corners and how I rehabilitated them. Oh, and vainly attempting to get them placed on several plat sheets in a semi-readable form.

Glad to hear there is frustration there. I always hear the opposite... btw, Carlson is adding a new cloud engine in 2018. Their cloud software has been getting better and better since they hired Paul Nixon to program just Point Cloud.

It worked pretty well yesterday after I optimized. The optimize routine never shows any progress until suddenly it's done.

I don't know if there is other software that can do nested registrations and multiple registrations which is pretty essential to us.
