If the site you are working on is in NH you can download the shp file from GRANIT.

Ive tried that, but all I can seem to do is get the whole state. The file is so huge, it takes forever. Is there a way to trim out a certain area?

I don't believe you can trim out an area with the GRANIT data, one option would be to have a separate drawing that is only the soils and copy out what you want. Alternatively, if you use the NRCS WSS you can define your area of interest and download the info for just that area.

Sounds like you already have it figured out.

For future reference, if you are after NRCS data, you should check out the NRCS Geospatial Gateway website.

USDA:NRCS:Geospatial Data Gateway:Home

You can download by county, place, bounding coordinates, ect.
