I've had an inquiry from a client who wants to know what the surveying requirements are for setting up a small family cemetery. I believe the State legislature eased the rules around such cemeteries a few years ago but I have no specifics. Does anyone know what changes in particular were enacted, where they're published, and what if any surveying-related rules exist?

Well, Title 13, §1142. Family burying grounds (found here) does not appear to have been repealed yet, so it seems to me that this would be the statute to employ. I have not heard of any changes in the last few years, but I've never done a new family plot either.
