Surprised no more responses. I love that stuff. Not quite as grand, but I'm currently trying to re-establish a county road in MA, last described in writing (no plan) in 1854. Bearings to the nearest minute, distances in rods and links. Compass bearings, and chain pulls (I mean tape), show some promising areas for excavation. A 1920 plan may help me tie into it. I remember when I dug down 3' to find a bound in Concord MA that was on a 1886 plan. Hope to give my T-Man that same opportunity.
