Massachusetts adopted the new 250 CMR on 11/23 and they are telling us now... Makes me happy I pay my dues to the association... (You should have seen the rollout of the Stormwater Handbook in 2008, it was effective January 1 but the document was not released until almost February)

The board is trying to weed out "undesirables", let's say. They are looking to license professionals.

They have you bring in some examples of your work, and then ask you some "what if" questions pertaining to various common law/statute law scenarios. They want to ensure you understand how to be surveyor, not a technician.

After the interview, they send you notice if they are allowing you to sit for the exam or not.
