Looking at sitting for my exam in April. LAPELS has quite a bit of books, and other reference material to study, however I was just wandering if anyone had a particular book, etc. that was helpful?

I also have to take the NCEES PS exam since Texas doesnt require it, however it seems to be just like a beefed up version of the FS test, and have already ordered the sample questions and solutions book.

Thanks in advance.

You should do fine with the material that LAPELS offers, but I would tell you to know an overview of Louisiana history, as well as where the current boundaries are. You should also note that in Cario datum 20.43 equals 0.00 msl.

There are a load of these at Amazon at a very good price. The publisher (Claiters of baton Rouge sells the 2011 supplement). I thik it is worth the money.

Yiannoupolis Civil Law Coursebook

Listen to Dan about the history, y'know Texas stole that Lone Star flag design from the Republic of West Florida. 😉
I see that you can download the compedium but it would be nice to have a hard copy for your use.

I would aslo be familear with French measur and riparian rights here are different from the rest of the US.
