Have been told of a local situation of a very wealthy fellow fighting the archaic system.?ÿ I have no skin in this game.?ÿ The wealthy fellow has owned a large lot and historic house for many years at one end of a subdivision from the 1880's.?ÿ The house was built by a banker during that same time frame.?ÿ Adjacent to the huge lot he owns are about three much smaller lots on one end of a different subdivision, also from the 1880's.?ÿ There is no alley between the two subdivisions, so all lots in each subdivision abut a lot or two in the adjacent subdivision.?ÿ This wealthy fellow also owns the lots in the adjacent subdivision that abut his one huge lot.?ÿ Each of those lots has a house and other buildings on it.?ÿ He intends to break the southernmost of the three lots such that he can sell the house to someone else yet retain the rear which has a large, elaborate garage.?ÿ Today, everything is fine.?ÿ But, the desk jockeys do not want to allow him to retain the partial lot with the garage.?ÿ The garage and it's section of yard are already treated as part of the back yard to the mansion.?ÿ Any fencing that existed previously was removed.
