@richard-imrie?ÿ

Glen's spec for a lithium replacement for my repeater puts it in the $400-$500 range. My battery is starting to annoy me so I hooked up a new one today and put it on charge, it's a new one we purchased as a spare some months ago. It's not lithium which I would have loved to use.?ÿ

Guess I'll have to pack around the heavy one until it starts acting up.

I have bought several from here and this link will take you to a 20AH one for around $200. I use a 20AH one that will run a base receiver and low power radio for a week.

@shelby-h-griggs-pls?ÿ

Thanks Shelby! We are looking at options and there's a big jump in price to get to the 35Ah battery. We've been guessing that a lessor AH would work, but there's not a lot of data out there.

A 20AH lithium will have about 16AH usable power (80%) and a 35AH lead acid will have about 17AH usable (50%). I replaced the "standard issue" 35AH lead acid batteries that are typical OEM base station batteries with the 20AH lithium. I DO NOT have a high power base radio, but with low power they last a week. YMMV, but I am guessing if a 35AH lead acid has worked for you, then no problem with the 20AH lithium.
