After some searching it's obvious this very uncommon, but as you can see in the screenshots Trimble explains how to connect.?ÿ

With our office slowly switching to all Trimble and having lots of glitches with Fieldgenius (already a third party software) I figure I might as well attempt to make it work.?ÿ

Any guesses on whether or not it will work? Hopefully being the plus model and not using a tcps27 radio won't make it incompatible. I'm currently using Parani's but waiting for an RH17 to show up.?ÿ

I don't want to get my hopes up but maybe it will work properly?

Got my answer! She works seemingly fine so far. Need further testing but it shoots the prism and in reflectorless.?ÿ

Now we either need another tsc7 or a special license to run access on my FZ-M1.?ÿ

It'll be a bit before I can test it further. It took shots and held a lock well within 3-12ft in the one room of our office, but search and the joystick seemed wonky. I didn't have a lot of time to play with it since we're prepping to move and my fiance texted me asking if I took off to Mexico.?ÿ

I'm really hoping this works as it will make transitioning to Trimble easier and save the boss some $ for a bit. It seems like access handles not having a keyboard pretty well so I could keep using my FZ-M1 tablet along with the Leica robot.?ÿ

Your Trimble documents are so compressed they are unreadable?ÿ

@robertusa?ÿ

There was really nothing exciting to see on the display if that's what you mean. It was just a test job with made up points and meaningless shots to see if it would track and shoot the prism.?ÿ

If anyone else had done this I haven't been able to find it in a search.?ÿ

Sorry I see what you were talking about...when I click on them it immediately loads and is completely readable.?ÿ

@350rocketmike?ÿ

I'm astounded. And impressed. You deserve kudos for your ingenuity.

Trimble Access on a Leica gun is a powerful combination, IMHO.?ÿ

@mark-mayer?ÿ

Thanks. It wasn't easy to find the info but Trimble deserves some credit for actually supporting it and documenting how to get it to connect.?ÿ

I'm pretty excited to try it out. I'll have to set up a baseline and angle to shoot with my existing software and try with access to make sure ATR and prism constants are working correctly.?ÿ

@350rocketmike Any update on this? Would you be able to share the Trimble Survey Style and maybe screen shots for the settings on the Leica?

@me-surveyor?ÿ

It works but barely. The joystick doesn't function properly and powersearch doesn't work so you basically have to have a helper to aim it at it then it will stay locked. It might be fine for conventional use but who knows what bugs might pop up. I haven't messed with it in a while and don't have all the settings I used handy. Most of it is obvious...it uses the 1100 series profile though?ÿ
