It's when you slow down, as you drive over a bridge, that you did the layout on.
It's when you are looking at a pile of papers on your desk, and you come across a project, that you invested your soul into, and it's not alive for somebody else, but it sure is alive still for you.
It's when you drive down the road, and see a locked gate, and still remember the rock nearby, with the key to that gate, so you and crew could get in.
It's when you look on ebay and see an old TM20c, with EDM standards on it, and wish you still had that one....
It's when you drive across an intersection, where you still remember the 1/16 corner, that is probably gone now, due to construction, and you wonder how close the coord is to the original position.

It's when the tele rings, and it is that old foul client that never paid his bill, and you consider just letting it ring, because it represents, a net loss.

It's when you see a piece of rebar, laying in the back of your truck, and remember where it came from, as it got replaced with a monument of greater substance....
It's when you see a bent PK nail, laying on your desk, and remember it's history.
It's what happens when you see that old tape reel on the wall....
