I wasn't talking about privatising everything.
I just don't want to get screwed.
Some counties are doing it and charging (what I think is) an appropriate fee. Others want it all.
If the cost to provide the online services is so great, then they could charge more for recording and for online printing.
Everyone's bias is showing

Or it could be telling you that one state requires regulatory agency budgets to be self funding and another state allow administration related tasks performed by regulatory boards to be partially paid for by general funds.
