Bought a cute little (and I emphasize little) level the other day - a Kern GK1. And lo and behold I actually had a tripod for it that I had picked up years ago and always wondered what it was for.

But what I don't have is a manual. Anyone out there have one that they'd be willing to scan or copy for me? I think it's only about 8 pages long.

Thanks

I used one of those with the USFS back in the early 70s. Cute little bugger, and ran good levels too. We also had a DKM-1 and several DKM-2s. GREAT instruments for sure.

Thank you - hadn't thought of checking Urs's site.

But that's not the right one. Mine is the older GK1 with split bubble.

Dave,

One of these days I am going to have to take a road trip. I would really like to see your collection. I haven't seen your displays since the days when you were traveling with the historical displays at the state conventions.

Awesome find. I hope to be in a position one day to collect antique instruments like you and some of the other guys here.

Enjoy!

Jimmy

You are welcome anytime! I enjoy showing my toys - as you well know.

For that matter, anytime any of ya'll are passing through the Valley stop in and say "hey"!
