My main disagreement with you is that I think you take the statement out of context and then claim that the statement is bogus.

It is bogus in the context of land surveying and that is what we are about!
I think I asked for a cite to this bogus idea once? Nothing came up that was related to surveying.
How about you, do you have a cite that relates to what we do in the professional world?

Can you cite anything that states that you can sell what you don't own? Exactly what case or statute law makes it legal to sell what you don't own? Especially in relation to the 'statute of frauds'.

I ended up working till dark thirty, reflectorless lasers are great at night, then I had consumed some beer with the clients on their deck until my wife called.
So I am home and cleaned up Nates dwg and have yet to download today's work.
I was most interested in other's opinions of your general statement and will ponder it all and resubmit a question/questions more to the point another day. I hope.
