Is the FEMA Map Service down for you?

It appears to be working just fine today!! Much faster than previous system. Holding my breath in hopes that it is really fixed once and for all!! :-X

Yep, working for me too. Now my county GIS is down and I need to find a different way to do an address because the map is showing one panel to the east. D'Oh!

I looked at the hard copy FIRM maps and tracings from the tax map.

and read a lot more newspapers.

I had problems accessing the FEMA map center the other day getting the error message. That was using Firefox. I switched to MS Internet Explorer and was able to access the maps just fine. This was June 5, well after the FEMA downtime. Must be browser compatibility issues.
